MV-7A Precision Small Animal Electrosurgical Unit Often called
electro-cautery?in veterinary medicine, this instrument is specifically intended for the treatment of small animals under 5kg, especially puppies, kittens, laboratory animals, birds, and exotic pets.
Low voltage output eliminates charring, the nominal 50watt power available addresses the high precision surgical needs associated with small animals while reducing the risk of inadvertently applying excessive therapeutic current, and the low crest factor assures healing on par with scalpel and laser.
The isolated RF output allows safe concurrent use of physio-monitoring equipment, allows safe bipolar coagulation directly, and allows the use of wo-point?excision technique. |
MV-9 General Purpose Conventional Ground Referenced Electro-cautery Unit
This unit has the power necessary for general purpose use on animals over 2.5kg up to bovines and equines. Straight forward controls and set up for ease of use and learning also reduces the risk of operator error. Has a pure CUT function which addresses aesthetically significant interventions such as ear cropping and tail docking as well as supports eye lid surgery and epilation. This allows initial incision with healing on par with laser and scalpel with minimal subsequent cicatrix formation. The coagulation capability alone makes this versatile and cost effective unit almost essential for emergency surgical care rooms. Not recommended for use in conjunction with physio-monitoring equipment, or with bipolar accessories.
