ME6000 Fulguration Adaptor :
For use with Radiosurge MC6A and MC-4A low voltage units to produce the high voltage needed for fulguration. The adaptor raises voltage for pin-point soft coagulation, treating enucleated cysts or fistulous tracts, for treating tumor excision sites, and for the desiccation of small pre-cancerous lesions. About 1mm arc length is available which suggests the use of an optical loupe during use. The adaptor limits therapeutic current in the event of accidental tissue contact.
Use a maximum power setting of “6” and COAG when using the fulguration adaptor. |

DISPERSIVE
PLATE (FDP-1):
This is the "Flexi-plate" and is standard for
MC6A, MC-4A, and MV-7A models. This durable and comfortable
plate eliminates individual attention for each case in
dentistry and allows versatile placement and good efficiency
in veterinary service. The "Flexi-plate" is
a worthwhile option for the MC-6 dental unit and works
well with the MV-9 unit also. The "Flexi-plate"
is not autoclavable. Clean with disinfectant. |

DISPERSIVE
PLATE (DPP-1):
This is a traditional coated 4"x4" metal "ground"
plate and is standard with MC-6 and MV-9 units. Fully
autoclavable. |

The DPC-2 is a red colored fully autoclavable cord for
use with either the FDR-1 or the DPP-1 and is a universal
fit for all MACAN units. (NOTE: MC-3 units manufactured
prior to 1978 may have a different dispersive jack. Consult

Bipolar Cable and Forceps :
For use with Radiosurge MC6A and MC-4A isolated units, this cable allows the use of American two-pin pattern forceps for coagulation. Bipolar coagulation is most effective on blood vessels but is applicable on any soft tissue. In conjunction with an isolated unit, bipolar coagulation may be safely applied directly on exposed bone or to gingiva adjacent to exposed bone. Bipolar coagulation is effective in wet fields. This accessory is not recommended for use with conventional ground referenced units. |

Macan Bi-polar Forceps come in a variety of popular styles,
either straight or curved tips with or without serration.
Each Forceps comes with a special forceps cord to be used
with your Macan Bi-polar electrosurgery unit. The forceps
cord may also be purchased separately. |
